For everyone's knowledge, how much are the cooking and charcoal grates from Weber?

$69 cooking grate
$45 charcoal grate
Cooking grate is not hinged. Killa Grilla makes them single hinged for SnS,and double hinged for $100+. At 24.5" as opposed to the 24.75" Weber offers.

I'd love to have a birth year ketlle. 1970 might be a little hard to acquire.

Iv had a couple 69/71 kettles as far as i know theres no way to tell them apart. pat pending, small vent tabs all around , metal wheels and metal bowl handles. Large bowl vent tabs i think started in 72/73 im too lazy to go check the age guide right now lol

Hey @Fat Tony . Was wondering what the height measurement from the ground to the lip of the bowl is? The super awesome @foshizzle agent-ed me an doppelgänger of your H code 26" a couple days ago, and I will be picking it up the second week of May. I'm working on a swing out side table that I could use on other 18s and 22s, and am curious to know the height of the 26 as it might influence my design plans.

Glad to be of help. I just measured yours @solidgoldstein and just what @Fat Tony said it's about 31 1/2" give it take a little so you may not want to do your final cuts until you pick it up.
Congrats to both of you.  This H code flat top 26'r is a good looking cooker.

Placed my order with weber for the charcoal grates, thanks for the info Fat Tony. Mines a 69/70 pat pend and the weber CS rep didn't know where to place it so I don't think it's registered still. This is definitely something weber should work on. WKC should set aside a spot for accessories and their P/N for easy access. Either way I'm glad to be a member of this club.
