Seville restoration

I was lucky enough to find/pick up this Seville the day after Super Bowl. Thankfully I already had the day off so after a couple hour round trip I had it home. From the pics prior I was sure it was a lime as I could see some imperfections/lime showing through.

Now how to get all of the cooked on paint off....solid 6 hours later and about 100 razor blades it is a lime again!!

If anyone has a painted kettle and would like some tips on removing it I feel like I am an expert now

Can't wait for this Minneapolis winter to end so I can get the line up back outside!

I saw that auction and was going to bid if the weather was nice enough to spend 10 hours in my truck. Ended up forgetting about it when it counted due to Super Bowl festivities. I had no idea it was a lime from the pictures.

Really nice job.

On another note, I've removed paint from porcelain signs before. There are various products you can use that will not harm the porcelain that probably would have saved you a boatload of time.
