My guess is you'll have better luck finding Crocodile Cheeks in Hoover than you will a Weber with factory hinge or a charcoal ring/deflector . . . let  alone both ! ! !

Nope. I like simple, and I don't mind lifting a lid as I have done for years.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

I like it a lot. I really like the heat ring and diffuser plate.

I really like the heat diffuser and ring.  I also like the mount for the igrill.  I hope, if nothing else, they sell some of parts mentioned, separately, here in the states.

It appears that Weber UK also offers the Master-Touch GBS E-5755 Charcoal Barbecue 57 cm.

https://www.weber.com/GB/en/barbecues/charcoal-barbecues/master-touch-series/14801004.html?cgid=4#start=1

This looks like the current Master-Touch with the added features of an iGrill bracket, "P" shaped bowl holes for One Touch ash sweep and rubber molded wheels. No hinge, heat diffuser or charcoal

ring. ...And, of course, not available in the U.S.A., go figure! Right?

michaelmilitello

Seems like you could use the charcoal ring from the 18 WSM with a sturdier pizza pan to replicate the ring and diffuser.

Because the typical "American" consumer wants to go to Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart... and buy the cheapest grill they can. So basically Weber has decided that it isn't worth the effort to try & sell limited use/appreciation items to a market where there isn't much of a demand to make it profitable.

Hey I resemble that remark

Except when it comes to a 26. I'll spend the dough on those.

Wiser words have never been spoken.  The term "value" is lost on the masses......

Thank you,
What is unfortunate is that, this forum and others are not supporting Weber and the newer products.

Instead, we bitch about various things and decide that we'll buy a used grill for 20 bucks or free, and then boast about our great deal.
