My local HD as well.
SJ jumped $5, even the accessories were up.
The coal rake/hoe thingy is almost $17

I made my own years ago out of a cut down $1
yard sale garden hoe.  Now I buy every one I see, cut
it down and give 'em to grillfellas I know.

Like every other company, with today's economy and the price of mfg, materials, wages, etc, all jacked up... it all gets passed on to>> the consumer. That's us. And we either pay it, or not. Not a helluva lot we can do about it. It's gonna happen.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

yup..i 100% agree..as i wrote in my post...it was overdue

note: last year weber website msrp was higher than 2019 shelf pricing...

it looks like weber finally required the resellers to sticker their 2018 msrp pricing.

Bummer.  But even at a small increase in price they're worth it.  If you take care of them they last a long long time.

Majority of us get our webers and accessories used so this is of no great consequence. When me and the missus or my buddies go to a baseball game we stand in the $5 tix line instead of paying $30+ per seat. Most of the time we'll hang out on the concourse level and have fun there. That's just how it is in this monetary system.

True for a lot of folks. I bought all my kettles either used or new years ago. Never had to look back. Good chit. And because of the reliability and longevity of the kettles, I don't see me having to ever buy another one. Just a grill grate now and then. And charcoal. LOTS of charcoal. I don't collect. I only own three 22" and two 18" kettles, and two 18" WSM's. Oh, and a big-assed Klose stick burner. What else do I need? Retirement...  ;)
