Weber basket mod

Hi. I posted this to our FB page and it was surprisingly, to me, received well. Thought I'd share it here too. I call it the Pac-Man Basket (PMB)

Probably easier to use expanded metal and just as cheap.

Or you can use ventilated stainless. Pricey but it would last a very long time.

Very cool. I might make this one too. I've been using Marty's better bigger basket mod which is similar in that it combines two baskets. I use it frequently.

Thanks! That's a nice simple design!
I like it
One thing I prefer about mine though is that it retains the whole floor. Some ash falls through but for the most part you can just pick it up and dump it out. Or save the unburnt coals.
Similar idea though.
Plus it can be different sizes.
