Performer - International carry

Hi -
Has anyone tried carrying performer as a checkin (oversize) on international flights? I have done multiple 22 inches on international as 2nd checked bag, just wondering if anyone tried it with performer?

Each purchase of a weber grill is a very special and rare occasion for me as they are rare to come by around here.

There may be some variance between carriers, but generally the limit is 100 lbs. and 80 linear inches with exceptions for bike boxes, ski bags, golf bags and vaulting poles.

I haven’t personally but given the geometry you may want to split it up into two boxes. One with the kettle and one for the flat-ish components.
