Weber Bug Zapper
« on: June 03, 2018, 05:51:22 PM »
Hey all. I was up at the cabin when this was posted on Letgo.  A drive up to Virginia MN. and $25 later, she's mine. It has 3 porcelain pops, but lights up fine. It was 40 degrees and rainy all weekend, so no zapping occurred.  Thanks for looking.

I couldn't, until I read that infra-red zappers don't work very well on mosquitoes.  Anybody have any experience with this?

After doing a little reading on Amazon, it sounds like this is the stuff I need to bring the skeeters into the zapper.  When it warms up, the woods up there just hum loudly with them.  I hope the zapper brings in horseflies and deerflies. Those are the three worst biters up there.

Grillagin,

You referred to your cabin as “up there”. Your profile says you live in Superior Wi. I did not think there was an “up there” from Superior.

@SacramentoWeber, Superior is indeed as far north as you can get in WI.  Our place is north of Duluth MN, just south of the Iron Range.
