I have been cleaning up a black H Code (1986) OTS to sell on CL.  I have never really been attracted to black kettles but there was something different about this kettle.  Couldn't put my finger on why I found this one so appealing until today when the bowl was in the sunlight.  The porcelain on the bowl is metallic.  It has red, green and gold flecks uniformly all throughout the porcelain of the bowl.  Only the bowl looks like this.  The lid has none.    Anyone every seen a kettle with porcelain like this?

You can see some of the metallic in the photo but is much more dramatic in person.

I'll get them out in the sunlight but I think the true Gray kettles have a bit of a metallic finish. That looks pretty sweet Jim.
