Olive pit charcoal.

Just found this at my local grocery store. 12.99 for 6.5 lbs. Definitely not cheap but it will be interesting to try.

I've tried it.  Works fine. Yeah, price was a bit high ...
However, it looks weird when it starts to ash-over.

Similar concept to the coconut shell charcoal out there.  Coshell for example …
Using an otherwise waste product to make briquets.  I like that.
