78 Weathered Brave
« on: March 19, 2018, 12:17:27 PM »
Had some time to clean up the Brave. Nothing goes in the barn dirty.
Just a stop over. I'll get a few cooks on her. Then she goes to another unsuspecting member.
She has her dents and scars. The grate straps aren't great, but the price was right.
Have to spray daisy vents for a few days as 2 of 3 are locked up.

Straightened out lid rim.

Triangle had paint all over it. You can see one leg cleaned

What's with the spray? Goes all the way around lid like this. Normal?

Not all coppermist fades are like that but I do have several that look just like that with the speckling. Hit and miss depending on who was applying the porcelain powder I guess.   It reminds me of what a brown farm egg looks like.

Upon putting the Brave in the barn, we had a bit of sun. 18 family photo with 2 new additions coming soon. That's a green in front of the red, not a black

Wow, beautiful Brave!
So much to like in this post, great shots along the bridge there. And damn the little red out rider...

@randy Anytime Brother. Thanks Fellas. Will have an updated family photo, definitely 2 new additions but possibly 3. Stay tuned.

Congrats, Colin! Love the overspray on that Brave!  I need to add a copper mist 18 to my collection one of these days. The pic of your 18 fam is awesome! I’m hoping to get a family pic in the next few weeks when it’s a bit warmer and not so rainy.
