So I've been looking for a black bar-b-Kettle for a little while to make my daily cooker. My Red Patent Pending has a lot of battle scars and I'm afraid she won't last much longer cooking daily. Plus, I think the newer daisy wheel grills are bad ass but that's just me. I've given away and sold all my one touch grills, just 3 wheelers for me now.

The handles are nearly toast and although I have replacements ready I like the way these look nearly black. I might order some ebony from Brian and paint this triangle black.

Not too bad for $10!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Foster Dahlet

That is a great grill.  Very nice.  If you are going to call it the Boss, hopefully some Springsteen is playing when you cook on it.

No way!  I'll treat her right.  I do want to get some ebony handles and spruce her up a bit.  Haven't had a Classic Black Kettle on the patio for some time now.

That's awesome!  When cleaning ashes out of a three wheeler, do you dump the whole thing or do you do it a different way?

I use a WSM ash shovel (part#7471) and a small disposable paint brush to remove ashes from my three wheelers. Unfortunately, Weber discontinued them. You can make a homemade one that works just as well out of a Clorox bleach jug.

I cut the bottom off of a milk jug. I can get it as clean as an OT with little effort. Doesn't bother me any
