Happy accident haul
« on: December 29, 2017, 06:24:04 AM »
Stopped by a local BBQ shop - they are transitioning to a take out BBQ joint, and dumping equipment. (For the locals out here, it's the place in Hampstead, MD) Picked up a bunch of stuff I'll use for rehabs and extras at rock-bottom prices. Might have to go back for more. No 22.5 grates, but the 18.5s will come in handy. Most things were $2.00 to $5.00, so I did OK. (They took another 60% off the lowest marked sale prices!) Sad to see them get out of the Weber stuff though. Anyway, here's what I picked up:

Nice haul Marty.  I'll have to head up there and take a look.  Thanks for the heads up.

Wow, nice pick up.
They seem to have been transitioning
into a Q stand for a while.
Hope the clearing out means they need the space
for more production or future seating.

Not a ton left, so don't go out of your way unless you need lunch. The side they used to have equipment and rubs etc has doubled the kitchen area. Still no seating unfortunately. The food I've had there has been good. Most of the stuff I picked up was covered with a layer of kitchen grease - I think they need better ventilation back in the work area.
