Thanks Mike - Next Saturday, I'm thinking about taking the day off and giving the locals a chance.
Buckie - the 18 is very nice, but it ain't perfect. It also appears to be the most used of the two, but also in the better condition. I'll get em' cleaned up and try to take better pics.
Hogsy - I couldn't believe the Sidekick table & hardware is still in the plastic! Which is how it'll stay as long as I own these. I can't bring myself to open em' up knowing I won't use it.
Bryan - an understated listing it was. For crying out loud, they couldn't even get a shot of the 18" kettle into a general photo. Which, obviously, worked into my favor. Had there been multiple pics of both grills, it would have turned into a 6:30 WKC meet-and-greet. lol
Buckie - they had a ton of seasonal yard ornaments on various 'sticks.' If you look at the photo, the pumpkin stands out pretty good. They had like 50 more of these types of things. I dug through, but no skewers in sight. And I looked a couple of times. Then again, I also didn't see a bright red 18" kettle for a while either...
cbpeck - I'm also amazed none of the other shoppers scammed the 18" right from in front of me. To think I was digging though hundreds of cook books before securing the second red still blows my mind.
mama - I also wonder about the covers. No printing anywhere on the cover itself. The little tag on the 22 says - Assembled in Mexico RN 78876
The 18" just says - Assembled in Mexico
Mike - I'm still standing on Mt Everest looking down at cloud 9
Where to go from here? Red MT, yellow, 'cado, lime, brownie, 26.75", C&B, 18 WSM, 1880 wsm, etc.
You know what's missing from the list? A red SS.....
Allll Aboard!
