For a month or two there has been deals taking place that involve grills going from Chi to Det to Green Bay to Atlanta to Chicago to Stl to Omaha and back.

On Saturday, I met with John @No1Agent in mid Michigan to start the process, on Sunday @zavod44 braved a trip to cheese head country to continue the deals that setup for the Epic trip of 2017.

Yesterday morning, @No1Agent loaded up a van full of grills to meet up with @Bob BQ in the Lou, @db3694 and a few other Stl grill fellas also got some goods from this trip.

he dropped off a load of grills and picked up probably as many to head to Omaha to visit @Craig we are still waiting for Craig to do some reveals but I will say a grail was removed from his grail list from this.

Finally, @ 7 PM last night he started the journey back to Chicago to meet up with Agent X for his loot.  John has just pulled into Chicago after he took a much needed nap in the van to get some rest.  24 hours after he left yesterday

We did some prelim calculations and while this costs a few bucks in gas, it would have been well over $1000 to ship, the additional benefit is the comfort that the grills were being transported safely.  We have all seen the pics of the well packed grill that is destroyed in shipping.

Many people involved in this effort but man @No1Agent   John really gets some major applause here.

Sounds like the basis for a remake of either Midnight Run or Smokey and the Bandit.
