That is crazy. Seems useful enough. Looks like the designers at Weber had a lot of freedom early on to try to sale some unique accessories.

That would be awesome for parties...does anyone know if the side tables were an accessory for the Chill?  Mine didn't come with them, and though it is fine without it, I'd love to find some someday!

I haven't been able to find any tables offered as accessories anymore. The wine rack is still stocked by some online suppliers.

Ok after reading "The Grill Out Times" summer 2003 issue. The way its worded the mahogany shelves came with the unit. The extras  are the chill basket and wire wine caddy. Hope that helps and good luck in finding what you're looking for.

Oh I'd always thought that thing was a regular cooler or fridge, not for white wine specifically. Makes me even more glad to really only drink red wine --- no cooler needed. Next, I'll tell you why I'm a fan of the boxed wine.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

It is a regular fridge. I fill mine with sodas and beer and the drinks are colder than the ones in my kitchen fridge. You use it just like an ice chest, but don't need ice!

JEBIV. Your shelves are not installed correctly. Rotate the shelves' metal hooks 90° and hook them on the posts that attach the outer metal rail to the body. I think you'll find The shelves fit much better and are more stable this way. Let me know if you have any questions.

Weber photographed the shelves installed incorrectly a few times too, including in the photo on the box your wine caddy came in, so you aren't alone. Come to think of it, Weber has been guilty of that will a few times (upside triangle on the new LE redhead).
