Nice Idahawk! I'm anxious to see pics of the burner and diffuser. I have an older kettle gasser - no vents and heavy metal base. Burner is good, but the diffuser is shot.

Very nice!

Golly - knobs from a genesis? There's a threaded one for the direct/indirect arm? Or the plastic will just 'thread' on?   ;D

Dude, relax your chicken.

Idahawk

Looks like I'm missing the ignitor assembly , the gas control knob * the direct/indirect adjustment knob and the grease cup

Does it look like everything is here for the gas control knob to attach ?

Anyone have parts ?

Looks like you have the standard model which didn't come with the igniter or gas bottle scale

One of mine didn't come with the grease cup so I found a small cup and made it fit
Looks like everything else is there except the knobs
Here's a pic of the schematics

Did it come with the hose to connect to the gas bottle?

Wasn't there some guy on Chicago CL selling the column for this kettle a while back?

I got it and sent it to Hogsy already....

Looks like I'm going to need a valve assembly , mine is missing the stem to attach the knob, I tried some of the gasser parts off my Skyline and a few other old gas grills I have and nothing that matches up .

Heyjude

Any good pics of the missing parts?  Hogsy?  What does the grease cup look like? I might have an idea for that, but none of the gas parts.. AJ  8)

This is an great project. Best of luck!

I once spotted one of the old electric kettles in a seedy part of town. I didn't know what to make of it at first but the extension cord gave it away. I never went and asked about it, and it has since disappeared.

Is there any chance to see an overall picture of this grill?  Or am I gonna see every nut and bolt that put it together?
