I have a friend that is a commercial banker and he rides BART into San Francisco.  He knows I have an obsession with collecting Weber kettles and has enjoyed many Weber kettle cooked meals at my house.  Today he sent me this photo of a young lady on the BART train across from him this morning with the caption, "There is no limit as to where a Weber may go".

Yep, enough said.......................

There should be a Weber silhouette in that Priority Seating sign. :)
hopelessly, helplessly, happily addicted to a shipload of Webers

What a great pic! Her bag looks like it's filled charcoal.

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

I don't have a car... but I do have a Weber and a bus pass!!!
Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

We need to get her a tuck and carry
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Hah! That's great! In my years of train/subway commuting I can't say I've ever seen that. I did bring a fishing pole on my commute home once I picked up on clearance sale from a sporting goods store in NYC. Got some interesting looks..

It's interesting what does and doesn't attract the strangest looks on public transportation. I didn't think sporting goods like fishing rods would attract much attention. How many people visit various stores and then go home on the subway?  The best one I had personally was a few years ago, my old manager was writing off junk equipment at work and gave me a Phillips oscilloscope that had been taken off the books. That got some panicked stares on the subway train when I took it home until an older ham radio operator asked me what it's bandwidth was and we started talking about test equipment. People visibly relaxed when they realized it wasn't anything nefarious.
