Tried this product today on my SSP...

Old girl was looking rough...

Have her a quick rinse, then sorted with cleaner. Let sit for a few moments, and lightly scrubbed with a Dawn dish scrubber.

After first rinse...

A little more spray and scrub, followed by a rinse, and she was clean enough for this big boy....

Now that I have burned it off she is fired up for some country ribs...

Overall, seems to be a good product. Made the cleaning easy. I could've put a little more into it and made it look brand new..... But, she's a cooker, not a looker.

Cheers,

I agree, all my cookers get a Spring Cleaning.  I like to keep tabs on the oil on my girls :)

What are people using to get grease of of a brick patio?

CarrieAnn

Have you tried coating the grease spot with Dawn, letting it sit a bit then scrubbing?  I find Dawn, plain old blue Dawn works wonders.

I use plain old blue dawn for everything but I hadn't thought about trying on the patio. Yep, I'm a bone head! LOL
I will give that a try. Thank you!

Cool. I'm still using BJ's Lighting degreaser brand but will give this one a try once I run out. I have read a lot of people using Simple Green because is bio degradable and supposedly doesn't leave chemicals on the cooker.

I have used brake cleaner to remove oil and grease from concrete driveways and garage floors. Spray on, give it a quick scrub (because it evaporates quickly) and soak it up with an old towel, or paper towels. I'd suggest this as a last resort when detergents don't work, since brake cleaner is a mixture of solvents and there are some simple, but important, precautions to take when you use it.
