so a blurry picture of a red master touch was on CL for a good price, texted the person about it. she still had it. it was her parents. so she gave me her parents number and said she would let them know I'm gonna call. call them and set up a pick up. when I get there I'm greeted by a super sweet and kind old lady. have had the grill since they got it in the 80s.

this is the picture from the post. horrible but price was good enough to not care and it was in town

here she is
crooked K 1988 master touch

scraped the grate and used her for my bbq today

Nice score but I think that kettle is called a One Touch Plus. The MT didn't come till 1992.

Wait till you get it real hot and see the color change. I'm betting you'll keep it.

thanks guys needs some new ash sweeps, a pan and a rub down. had to cut a coke can to shim the legs, have warn in grooves where the indent for the socket is. the strip of can did the trick. but now its solid as a rock

Same here. Me & my "man's brain" had high hopes, but were let down. It took a Weber to get me back into redheads again.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

All I want to know is how much corn can one man eat at one time?
Not too bad at all.
