Lime chariot

What would a decent shape lime green Seville chariot be worth? Found one for sale and would like to know the average price they are going for?

Whatever you and the seller agree on...they're rare and definitely a grail for many of us!  Best of luck!

Jeff,  the answers given so far have been correct.   a Seville Chariot can run from almost nothing (re; really bad condition) to who knows, $800 pr or more in mint condition.     Without pics, it's hard to give you any kind of value.    Even then, it all depends on what others are willing to pay.  For example, I wouldn't turn one down if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn't pay more than $150 for ANY Seville unless it was to flip it.

It doesn't look to be in bad shape so I'm going to go grab it tomorrow.

The value of grills is entirely based on condition and demand..
That looks pretty nice.
If you were to plan to restore it and keep it, its value is what you make of it.
Hard to say as they are rare.
That one has been repainted. If the seller wants $350 pr less, IMHO its worth it.
If you're just trying to make money, then you are in the wrong place.
Most people are here to enjoy the hobby, not get rich.
Good luck with it!

The reason I was asking about value is I have never seen one for sale and didn't want to over spend on it. Now that I kind of know what they go for I have no problem paying what they are asking. Don't know where you got the idea I was trying to get rich as I was just asking for a value on a old Weber.

I based my initial response on this statement.

"Well this is going nowhere. Thanks anyway..."

It sounded a bit like someone who had no patience or wanted someone to just give a value for money purposes.

It should not be about money, but the hobby, the camaraderie and the future memories it will make.
Some have the resources to spend a lot and collect a lot.
Some share their finds. Some are in it foe the "Hunt".

You can't go wrong if you buy it for your own pleasure.
Many will never see, let alone have the opportunity to buy one.
Congrats on it and enjoy it in good health!

Jeff, fwiw, people often sign up here just to ask what grills are with with the thought of selling.  Like they think the WKC is a pricing or estimate service.

I'd wager that you being new here played in a bit as well as members aren't familiar with you.  Someone who's been active here for a while possibly would have gotten a slightly different response.

As to that Seville, she's sweet looking.   Good luck on scoring it!

By the way, the ash pan is missing in that pic.  It should be sitting in the wire ring under the kettle.

@jeff1143 - Good luck. It really is hard for anyone to set a value on these Chariots.  Members have paid from $25 to $200 in original (not restored) condition.  I have not been a WKC member that long but I have not seen a restored Chariot sell yet. After purchase, figure on spending around $150 to have it sand blasted and powder coated. Maybe these threads will help you.  Here are links to Chariot Sevilles picked up by WKC members in the last year:
