I have been chasing this kettle for a week and a half. It popped up on OfferUp last Wednesday, I texted the seller quickly to secure my bounty, then scrambled to sell my old blackie to raise the funds.
After three false starts, he was about to bail on me again this afternoon, finally felt bad about it and just set it out behind his apartment where I could pick it up and leave the cash in his crappy gasser.
I have always loved the Copper colored kettles, and to find one locally was a miracle, let alone for dirt cheap. After a quick scrape and emptying the literally overflowing ash pan, she's ready to cook. As my kid said, it's so shiny!
