So as i tend to do, i was riding around nearby neighborhoods and spotted what looks to be a Brownie in excellent condition. I really want to stop and knock on the door and make them an offer. What do you guys think?? Rude or not??

You don't know unless you try. You might even make a friend in the process.

Go for it. Wear a WKC shirt and I offer to trade for a newer/cleaner basic black, then sweeten the deal with cash if necessary.
Good luck!

Definitely go knock. Got my K code redhead that way. All they can say is no. I got turned down a couple weeks ago on a green ssp, but the lady took my number and said she would call if they decided to let it go.
