So I picked up another performer a couple of days ago. I've been looking for this color for a while so I jumped at the opportunity despite being in a sketchy neighborhood and having to wake up at 6am to get it. Here is the picture from the ad, it's missing a couple of things:

The bowl was not bad, just some rust around the edges and a little spot on the bottom bowl. This cleanup was a lot easier than my first performer restore, maybe because I knew what to expect this time, sorta like having two boys. First one was tough, second one way easier...

As I was cleaning I really wished the owner had a cover for this thing. One of the nuts was frozen on for the lid holder attachment and I had a heckuva time getting it off until it finally broke off with a socket wrench and vice grips. Years of neglect and uncovered buildup was evident with the leaves and cobwebs in and around the frame. Took it apart and hosed it down. The casters were frozen, and the ash catcher was rusted.

I was afraid the gas assist was frozen and rusted as well, but it just needed some persuasion to turn.  Disassembled and cleaned up. Guess what, it works!

I ended up swapping the bowl and lid into my current blue performer. Fit like a glove! Here she is all prettied up...

The blue gets the old frame and is awaiting some parts. Luckily I kept an old table from my other performer which is in much better condition. Gonna give it the @Cellar2ful table resto treatment. Thank you for the tutorial by the way.

Thank you to everyone here, couldn't have made any of this possible without finding you guys! I am a happy grillfella. ;D

Very nice.  That lime is one of my favorite colors.

Nice work. The dark table really enhances the lime.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

That turned out fantastic. The contrast between the lime kettle and the black table are stunning.  Nice job.  Looks like a real nice built in you have there @RSHU. Pizza oven?

Thanks everybody! @Cellar2ful Its a work table with sink and electrical outlets. Decided against the pizza oven...for now.

Thank you! Trust me, it wasn't cheap. We just finished the backyard remodel in December, feels great having it all done. No spending for a long while, luckily the wife works too!

Awesome restoration, really like the color combo of the lime and metal table.
