Yes, in that light w/ that color rendition, definitely PLUM looking.  At least THREE distinct colors: Burgundy, Plum, & Brick Red.  ???  ???  ???

Looks like the new type of Weber Msater Touch - we call it "brick red" by us , see pictures ...

That link called it cihlově červený = terra cotta in English?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Crimson isn't too far off in shade.

[Red and Red Mist and Limited Edition Red]

I still maintain that the Plum is altogether dark purple in a way the burgundy and brick red are not.

Does anyone have the the 99,00,01,02 catalogues that might show colours available for those years?

Does anyone have the '95 catalog that should resolve the plum/burgundy issue w/ the SSP that I have?

Been doing some research with RR, here's some info from catalogues dated 1994-2002. No mention of Plum or brick red and only maroon is in the gas BBQ range. Interesting brown is called brown and not chocolate
1996 not listed
1995 not listed
1994 Brown

1998 Maroon
1997 Maroon
