Ok to use on the kettle? Not concerned with discoloration.
Still need a 22" yellow

If not concerned about discoloration, I can't imagine why not.

Good to hear. I've had this thing for years. Right after I got it, we moved into a house with a glass top stove.

I use my enameled DO on my glasstop stove without any problems.  It has a flat bottom with no legs.

I had alway heard otherwise. No bother though. My girl thinks the glass top is a no no, and now knows it's ok on the grill. I see no reason to tell her otherwise.

I use ECI on the glass stovetop all the time. Just did as a matter of fact. I use it on the grill too. 0000 Steel wool and bar-keepers friend cleans it right up.

I totally agree!  I'll edit my post to say something totally different if you want to destroy all evidence!

We have a Glass Cooktop and the Local PD says Nay-Nay to using it inside, which suits me fine!

@Travis  That's where I'd like to get my 12" cast iron frying pan to some day!  I bet that pan cooks beautifully.

I just bought a Lodge 7.5 quart enamelled Dutch oven at a Boxing Week sale and the pamphlet that came with it in the box said not to use it on a grill (or camp fire or microwave).  Any idea why not on a grill?  Are they concerned that a hot fire with lump charcoal would exceed the maximum temperature rating for the enamelled finish?  I haven't used it yet but I was thinking about doing a stew today with it on the stove inside.
