Got my first kettle a few weeks back and added a hinge and wood handles. Looking good:

dang......may have to figure out an alternative anyway.  my cart configuration would require me to mount the kettle end of the hinge on a flat horizontal surface behind the kettle in order to work.

Those are pricey. I thought the lid bale was pricey until I saw this.
