If you are looking to get the Napoleon grates, they work very well. However they do require maintenance, else they rust too, so be prepared to oil them after cooking and taking care of them.

All CI grates or pans rust if you do not take care of them.  If you rather have SS grate for less maint...... Not sure when Garys grates are coming, but if I was in the market for SS grates now, I would pay bit more and get this one. 304 SS, .25" thick, weight of 9lb. custom made in USA.

On a side note, check out all 3 heavy duty monster 304 SS grates on all new Cast Aluminum Kamado weighing in at 14.5lbs.for cooking grate :o and this is for 20" not 22.5" kettle.   Very impressive kooker overall with all aluminum body with everything else 304 SS.

If you are looking to get the Napoleon grates, they work very well. However they do require maintenance, else they rust too, so be prepared to oil them after cooking and taking care of them. Also if you are planning to buy then from BedBath&Beyond, the 20% coupon DOES NOT apply to this item. If you are planning on getting it at 20% OFF elsewhere, please do let us know.
Just order my Napoleon grates from Bed bath &beyond... All I did was go to the store give them the SKU 45918346 and my 20% off card.. That was it.. They are going to be shipped to the house with tax and free shipping $60.05..I think the key is to go to the store and not order online.

When you say grill grates are you referring to the product grill grates or the stock grates that came with grill? If you mean the product grill grates you would be the first person who has killed them!

Thinking about buying some of the Grill Care 22.5 stainless grates to give for Christmas. Have heard some stainless can rust. Anyone use these and like them?
