Worked out a deal with him. I'm going to pay the $200. Decent yellows don't show up around these parts very often.

Nice grab!!!  That's a reasonable price for you both of you. He delivering, or do you gotta go with the Sysco p/u?

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Congrats!  I knew you would work something out with the seller.   Got me all excited there with some drama.  It is a good price for that condition yellow. Hopefully the bowl is as nice as the lid.

If I did not have a yellow yet and that came my way, there is no way I am let in it pass by. I would have payed even bit more to get it.

I know how excited I was when I got a  Yellow and a Ivory.   Question to you is- which one are you more excited about getting.

I don't run Cedar Rapids anymore so I have a friend that's going to pick it up for me while I sleep in this dirt lot in Lavista Nebraska

Honestly the ivory. I've wanted a yellow for a long time but the soon as I seen that Ivory I knew I had to have one. Means a lot more because my wife went through the hassle of figuring out how to get it.

I'm glad you were able to work it out with him. Someone send this man a period correct wheel!

Yes indeed if anybody has a couple of wheels I'd be glad to pay for them it will surely need them...

Great score, and I think a reasonable price too.
Seems to be in really good shape, can't wait to see some more detailed pics and the first time you see the color change!

Get some nice fillets and some lobster tails and make the wife a nice surf and turf on the ivory. Then clean it and never cook on it again! What an amazing day for you.

Fantastic day,   it seems that the scores come in clumps for some reason.

IMO you didn't overpay for that yellow either.

If you come out really high right off the bat with your bid, some sellers antennae get raised and then they think they have gold.  You handled it perfectly. Not sure that I've ever seen a yellow come up around here.

Congratulations!
