Question regarding economy triangle
« on: November 01, 2016, 08:33:53 AM »
Roadside find from back in early spring
22 with the economy triangle.
Can't remember date code right now
but I wanna say '94.

Had never seen one before.
Any more info on this triangle?
Did it come from specific retailer, etc?

Here is some info from the resident history expert @Craig from an old discussion:
Weber sold Daisy wheel kettles in the U.S. through 1999. The red BAR-B-KETTLEs from the 90s came with a full framed black triangle. The black BAR-B-KETTLEs came with the economy triangle. THAT is a nice red!

Wanted: Burgundy 18"

K.   :)  Learned something new today.

The deeper you get into the Weber legend
the more variations you come across.

This wheeler is quickly becoming my most
versatile cooker.  Still don't know why they
abandoned wheels for the one touch.  so much
easier to control temps.

I'd almost forgotten HOW easy.
