I think it did...must of not done well for weber to remove it from the ranch....did the old 26r have the gourmet system also

Sadly, no. I wish they would do one for the modern 26er though. The center hole was removed when the ranch was redesigned to the MBH "mothership" style around 1959.

There was one in Chicago about 6 months ago for 75 bucks. I think it lasted about 20 mins.
