I picked up a 2001 DA code SSP late yesterday.  It is nasty but it's all there and in excellent condition, even down to the original stainless steel hinged grate and propane cylinder.  Even had the charcoal baskets for indirect cooking.  It's going to take a lot of elbow grease to get it to where I'll want to cook on it.   I'll try and get a couple of photos on here tomorrow.

Sounds good man, especially those ss grates. Can't wait for the pics!

Looking forward to the pics.  I'm picking up this blue SSP if all goes well tonight.  Can anyone tell me what year the storage bin lid handles went from light grey to black on the SSP's?

I have 2 ee codes and they have the same lid and bin  both are  1999
Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

DE code is 2009, correct ?

Nice.  Whitewalls intact, original tank, even the three tool hooks are there.  Congrats, @geezer.

Both whitewalls are good.  I took a brass brush to the stainless grate and it cleaned up nicely.  So far, I've cleaned half of the bowl.  I don't have it "like new" clean but clean enough for me to cook with.  Once I finish with the bowl and inside of the lid, I'll start on the stainless work area on top.  I'll be cooking on it before too long.

Nice score! Was this one of the Eastern NC Craigslist ads?  They had a couple decent looking SSPs out there.

This one was on Letgo. I missed a similar SSP just before I got this one.
