Was looking at a Kettle Pizza for $80 but still couldn't justify it.  I did manage to find the Pizza cue for $25 so I snagged it...

That's a great idea. I can store it under my Genesis.

Sigh...didn't fit under my Genesis so it hangs in my shed...  more importantly, still waiting for a chance to use it!  Can't wait!

Are lids stable on the Pizza cue? The angle looks... precarious.

Never had a problem. Here is a better pic of my pizzaque, there a a couple little spring clips that help steady the lid.

Hi guys,

Just bought a PizzaQue. Wanted to bought the Kettle Pizza but when I saw I can get a pizzaQue for 70$ (in Switzerland) I just bought it!

With my MasterTouch I can get a temperature of about 300°C (572°F)... but this is not enough for pizzas! I hope I can get at least 400-450°C (750-800°F) with the pizzaQue :-).

What temperature can you achieve with yours?

(and sorry for my bad english :-P)

I cooked on mine last weekend (sorry no pictures) and had no problems hitting 750° after adding 2 chimneys of briquettes and some apple wood splits. I am sure you will get the hang of it in no time.

Platypus, add some wood chunks/splits to your charcoal to get higher temps.

Used the pizza que last night; it was a Christmas gift.  We had company over and decided to do a "build your own pizza" night.  We made the dough, added our homemade sauce.  Our guests put on the cheese and toppings of their choice, and I baked them.  Overall, we fired 6 pizzas....they all came out great....bubbling cheese and crispy crust;  the temp held at 700 degrees for at least an hour.

I do confess that I feel somewhat guilty having the pizza que, considering the kettle pizza brand is American made.  But, there is no question that the pq works very well.
I like my Kettles like my coffee....strong and black.

I have the PizzaQue and my old man has the Kettle Pizza.  I will say that the Kettle Pizza seems to be better quality/more sturdy, but it is no where near worth more than twice the price (on Amazon).

Does the PizzaQue work with the Weber Jumbo Joe? (18.5") Looking to get more use out of that grill and this would be perfect...
