I prefer to pour mine also but have only used a Weber. The other looks like an accident waiting to happen, dumping all over your legs or feet.

My Weber chimney is at least 3 years old, gets used almost daily and no rust or burn out. It never sees the weather as it sits in my garage after it cools down

@Travis, yes we do and it looks like the top on yours came apart too. I drilled what was left of the top rivet and bolted it.

@Harleysmoker, my old chimney has been left outside all year since new and still took several years before I had rust through.

Yes. It's at the one in greenwood, in. I checked the website and it doesn't show one but the store has it. Let me know if you want me to agent one for you.

Looks like it would be handy for the folks that use the gourmet grate system.   If I'm only gonna buy or have one chimney I'd go with the higher capacity.  If I was looking for an excuse to buy a smaller one I'd give this one a shot
Smokey Joe Black, Smokey Joe Lime Green, Original Kettle Premium Black,'92 Red OTS, Yellow Simpson's 22, 78 Red MBH, '80 Black MBH, '10 Brick Red Performer,'12 Grass Green Performer, '03 Blue SSP, '97 Blue SSP, 18 inch WSM

Fortunately I didn't buy it.
I'm a mod @ barbecuebible.com,
it and a bunch of other stuff was sent as
a thank you to the mods and to get our
take on them.

The chimney was the only abject failure.

Liked the size.
Liked the features.
The materials were and still are sub par.

After 5 years you'd think they would
have beefed up the construction
