I was looking for a large ice chest for events and parties without breaking the bank . The igloo party bar looked to be the right fit and was at an affordable price coming in at around $175.00-$200.00,With free shipping.

Assembly - the base has wheels that you have to install and it does not come with batteries for the LED lights . The cooler itself is light weight and rolls easily on the locking casters which are heavy duty.

The lid - it's thin,as in no insulating factor what so ever. The lids come in a clear and a smoke color , I got smoke in order to deflect some of the Suns rays . The lid is hinged and can be removed completely for open serving .

The cooler -
CAPACITY
212 (158 WITH DIVIDERS) 12-oz cans
125 quarts (118 liters)
Fits 2-liter bottles upright

The body is nice and thick and the dividers and wine bottle tub are nice features . The lights are a great feature and very handy . The cooler looks metal like a stock tank or water trough and we got lots of complements and questions at a picnic we attended. The cooler sits in a base and the base doesn't attach in any way but does flip over and rest on top of the cooler when traveling . The cooler has spots for tie downs, a bottle opener with removable catch bin to dump the caps and an optional cover and garnish bin for the inside .

Ice retention -

To be honest I didn't give this thing much hope of holding ice for long periods of time with the clear lid being so thin but I was very surprised . The depth of this cooler creates a very cold environment .

First trip out it was in the high 80s to low 90s , the cooler held 4 blocks of ice for 3 days and I was able to re freeze those blocks and take them on a 5 day camping trip as well.  We topped the cooler off with cubed ice on a few occasions but the blocks hardly melted and our food stayed perfectly chilled.

The lights are a great idea

It's no yeti , but If your looking for a party cooler at a great price that can hold ice for days , not to mention 200 beers this might be an option . I'll be using mine to transport meat for events and I'm confident it will do the job

interesting! Seems these guys designed it, http://liddup.com/about.html and partnered with Igloo to make it.

Also available in bronze,

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
