Well, it happened. I finally picked up my first Performer. It's a black AD model with propane ignition, so hardly a rare bird. But I got the grill, with deluxe cover & Weber chimney for $107! The man was upgrading to a Traeger.
I'm going to have to part ways with my main cooker (a green '11 OTG) to keep the MRS happy. Fortunately, my uncle is all too happy to give it a home.
I was always a bit of a skeptic about the propane ignition, but I think I'll end up liking it, and the counter top space will certainly come in handy. The grill is only two years old, so it cleaned up like new. I wanted to post a pic, but I've forgotten how! I'll go look it up now.
