Picked up this 22" for forty bucks. Looks like it retailed new for $300 nobody has then for sale anywhere. How rare is it? These are stock pictures but the one I got is garage fresh with some rust on the top vent. Also the wood handles are flaky and need to be sanded and refinished. But it has never been used. Its a MacKenzie-Childs "courtly check".

Wife kinda likes it I might just keep it. Guess it depends on how much it's worth lol.

It's interesting that the link the @Red Kettle Rich posted above says it's just repainted weber.  I've never seen a four legged weber.  It also has a indented around the bottom half of the kettle that I imagine is to hold the cooking great. Lid vent doesn't look like anything weber has ever used either.  It's still a cool grill.  At first I was kind of into the four legs, but thinking about it more I would probably trip myself since they aren't in the usual place.  Probably a reason the webers only have three legs is to give them enough stability without a bunch of tropping hazards in the way.

Precisely.
What's interesting is we'll eventually encounter a generation that won't understand that joke.

I've been playing with computers since the late '70's. When I told my kids I once upgraded my computer from 16k ram to 48k for around 400 bucks they were completely shocked. Hell when I told them about floppy discs, and even computer cards... Hell, I showed them a pic of my original cell phone from 1985.
