Red MBH score: unused but not without scars

It took a pretty good hit, I guess. I assume the grates and leg/wheels were updated along the way, or did the wheel change happen during the MBH era? (It does have the big vent tabs). Unfortunately there is no history because the seller is a junk-jobber guy who found it at a clean out. I love the clean vents and lid/bowl insides. Bunch of light surface scratches and no ash pan. Got to bend about 2 inches of the lid lip back out and do a little patch work where the porcelain was gouged. Complimentary utensils.  ;)

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

That's an awesome find! That cooking grate looks period correct to the grill. Could be a late '75 early 76 kettle if that's a. BAR B Q KETTLE vent. Wheel style went back and forth between late BBQK vents and early engraved "WEBER" vents (76-77)

Doh! Of course....I bought a similar MBH a few weeks ago w/ the same wheels and grates.

Maybe I DO have too many grills.  :o

Even with the damage that's a great find!

I'm sure Weber CS would happily replace that for you. A new grill shouldn't have that sort of damage. "Sir, what is the date code on the top vent?"  8)

I think I also see that here, http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/is-this-'76-'77-22'-kettle-too-far-gone/ and it's a later machine, with "weber" lid vent.
