Lettuce wrapped Pork bulgogi night
« on: April 24, 2016, 05:17:00 PM »
Picked up a piece of pork butt from the meat shop yesterday. After I deboned it, it weighed out to be 2.01 lbs. I then wrapped it up tight in plastic wrap and threw it in the freezer for a couple hours. Then it got thin sliced. I mixed up the bulgogi marinade and combined it with the pork then refrigerated overnight. Cooked it up tonight and I couldn't believe how tender the pork was; it was like melt in your mouth tender.  The 26r was used for this cook.

@Travis I used the recepie in this vid exactly. No changes. Turned out excellent.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SaOd5iorw18

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

@Travis I just remembered I did do something different than the vid. I added the onion to the marinade and not the cook as in the vid.
