My daughter, who is in Minnesota, was at her boyfriend's apartment when she found a Weber in the backyard of a neighbor's apartment.  She hopped the fence and photographed the top vent; she thought the owner saw her trespass.  Well, at a later date, the owner was in his yard while my daughter's boyfriend was in his.  The owner asked him if he wanted the grill (for free).  Long story short: The grill and shipping to Alaska were free (Daughter put it on the plane as a free extra bag,ex-wife bought the Christmas airline ticket). The Patent Pending Avocado was in fair condition and needed a leg socket welded.  My brother, a diesel mechanic, welded the leg for free.  All in all it cleaned up nicely.  Welded the leg socket, painted the white walls and replaced the old lid handle with a newer wood handle from a "Go Any Where" which was used for parts.
