F code Brownie

How much would you realistically spend on this grill? This is a grill that I have found that I like but can't seem to get over the $180 price tag.

It's worth what you're willing to pay. If it helps, I see a C&T ring in the fourth pic.

I think it is in great shape but I think the price is a bit steep. But man I would love to have a grill that was born the same year I was.

Not gonna lie. If I found a C code. I'd throw a few extra bucks at it. $180 is a bit steep though.

That has been on sale forever...months.  You could see if the seller is willing to budge.  By the way, congrats on the fireplace @jolayiv!  I was hoping to pick that up next weekend if it was still available, as I'm heading down to Orange County.  Looks fantastic!

@crowderjd I have been eyeing that grill for sometime. I finally decided to email the guy just to see what year it was and now that I know it's my age I want it! But I don't want it $180 bad. I responded back to him and I will see what he has to say. Sorry to snatch the fireplace from under you but I was finally able to paint the beautiful picture to my wife of us enjoying a nice night around a new fire  pit.

The C&T ring and birth year would push me a bit over $50, but still not $180.

Are you sure that is a C&T ring? It doesn't look like mine from this angle.

That grill has been listed a long time. $180 sounds high to most I think.

If you just want a brownie and are passing through Bakersfield, I can hook you up with a nice H-code. PM me if you like.

I think you may be right. Been on my phone all day. Looking closer, rib rack.

Ok so this grill pulls on the guys heart strings. That's the reason for the price. It was passed on from a friend. He wasn't willing to share anymore than that.  I imagine he will be holding onto this grill.

If it is so special then he should keep it

Yes, that is not a c n t ring it is a rib rack.

Not worth over $100 but if someone is willing to pay it......

Always tough to talk reality on asking price to someone with an emotional tie to an object (Antique Dealers perspective).  My advice, just be patient, last year Calif had at least a dozen brown fades for sale on CL.   OK, maybe not a dozen, but several :)     I paid $40 for mine ... just be patient.                                    SJ

Looking for Dark Blue MBH 22", Dark Green MBH 22", Yellow MBH 22", Glen Blue MBH 22", Avocado MBH 22".

I'm with you guys. I assured him if he was looking for someone that was going to take care of it I'm the guy. My boys enjoy every minute of grilling time we have. They have already laid claim to all of my cast iron I have restored. Oh btw they are five. Lol
