Were these Weber-Issued Charcoal Baskets?
« on: March 22, 2016, 10:56:00 AM »
Two days ago, I rescued a black "M" code One-Touch Plus.  Very good condition, and a great price.

It came with 2 of these charcoal baskets.  Rather rusty, but still usable, IMO.

Larger than the more common baskets most of us are familiar with.  I like that for holding more charcoal.

Did Weber make these available, or were they after-market charcoal baskets?  Or, is it a Canadian thing ??   :D :D

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Pretty sure there Weber, I have a set too. I think they sold them after the wire baskets
They are a great size, mine had a blow out in the base so I fitted them with expanded mesh
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers
