Cleaning kettle

Just recently bought an Weber kettle looking for advice what to use to clean inside and out that doesn't harm the paint also where would find an ash pan

These are great places to start. Finding a pan from the correct era will be a trick. Perhaps someone will have one if you post a WTB ad in the Member Sales and Trades Forum.
