He put Weber's name on it so I hope he has talked to Weber, that being said I like it!

Not a bad idea...

But batteries are pretty easy, much less complicated so cheaper and better reliability... And leaves the heat for cooking, as this thing would have to (minorly) cool off the kettle.

Pretty cool. There's also a couple cats who sell cell phone chargers that work off the heat from lanterns, campstoves etc. Even ultra light versions for backpackers.
