Happy, happy, happy my red head has come in! The neighbors wouldnt know what to think if we had any, you just dont see grills this color around here, I've looked.  Thanks Marty G, it was a pleasure and everything showed up in fine condition. I'm thinking of a few upgrades already, maybe a Gold ash catcher, a cast iron grate, and maybe get a "handle" on some more decorative items.

Jeff

Ok...whats the story behind this grill?  I'd say it looks like a new grill except for the triangle on the bottom.
Very nice.
Kettle collector AND cooker!

MartyG

Oh crap - did I send you the good one?  :o  Glad to see it arrived in good shape - I was worried. And that triangle might shine up even better with a little more work. You need wood handles on it though...right Brian? And I'm down to four reds now, I better start looking again.

SmoothSmoke

Looks ultra clean man.

I worked a swap with MartyG and I'm really glad I sent him a NOS grill because I don't think I could clean a used one up as well as he did. I can't wait to cook on it, of course our girls basketball team is headed to the last tournament before the state finals this weekend so its gonna be longer than I hoped. It's going to be really nice to have a 22 around the place again, I left my Performer at work and I have missed the one big grill cook as opposed to the multiple small grill cooks.

MartyG

Yeah, I wanted an older SJP because I'm not thrilled with the new ones, and he found a stash at a local Ace (I recall) and offered to do the leg work. I was happy to make the swap. It's the WKC spirit you know: makin' each other happy. What goes around comes around.

That red has put on a lot of miles in the last few months....... ;)

MartyG

Oh, and we need some action shots of that thing with a good fire in it's belly. Drive it like Mr. Bean drives his McLaren F1!

Yeah, the way these redheads have been making their way around lately, I'm starting to think they are the sluts of the kettle world. :o

Awesome grill Eastex!  Since it's gonna be a cooker, you know we need the pics of it in action...  :D
