I saw this kettle in a CL ad
https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/fuo/5373217383.html
yesterday less than an hour after posting, around 8pm...hurry up, send an email. then the waiting. I work overnights and I finally here back from the seller shortly after 1AM. We set up a pickup this morning.
FINALLY...a Redhead (red fade) to be precise
A couple beauty marks but overall in great shape. No ash pan (twist on??)otherwise I think I have a spare 18 somewhere
Best $10 I've ever spent....Merry Christmas to me

Nice score, dude! My very first 18 was a "P" code red.
And, like yours, the lid and bowl appear to have a difference in the tone or shade of red.
