Kettle covers
« on: September 30, 2015, 06:39:33 PM »
On a recent trip to Cali via the road less traveled, I found these in an old hardware store.  Weber still offers the 4701 cover, however the fabric is different, and the accents on these are red instead of black, and they are void of the weber lettering.  Not sure I can date them, but given the packaging (fonts, etc) I would say they have been on the shelf for some time.

Nice finds Winz!

I have one of these Grey with Red accents as well and if you look really close at the front of the packaging just under the cutout lid rim on the left there should be a copyright date. Mine is printed as ©1981.

The old weber covers are awesome! Does anyone else have some oldies they want to share?

Recently I acquired this old beauty 8) It's in really great shape other than the top seam which needs to be re-stitched. Hoping to get that taken care of soon...
