Found what  I thought was a Weber 22, kinda think it's a sears now..Plain vents other than EO stamped on top.
All vents, top one and bottom 3 are screwed on, not riveted.wooden handles, has an internal happy Cooker style ash pan.
Entire kettle is ROUGH...leg sockets detached, ash pan rusted badly. kinda want to cut it up to make a stacker, but
was just curios about it.

Sure looks like an econo-kettle to me... can you post a shot of the internal ashpan?

Yep, that's one of those economy kettles. Given the shape it's in, feel free to chop it and give it a new life.

It looks to be a HC but they never stamped any vents that I know of ?

I think it's a Weber made product. It could have been produced after Weber bought Unarco's tooling, and after Sears Lawyers demanded an internal ashpan. That's just a guess though.

i wish it was in better shape, I'd restore it and keep it just because it's odd, but at least making a stacker would get some use out of it, and put a few spare parts on the shelf.

All the Happy Cookers I've ever seen had plastic handles that bolted to the lid/bowl.

HC also came with wooden handles but they had a distinct flat chamfer to them like so:

Maybe I should rephrase that - all the HC's I've ever had...

I'm getting senile here. I once passed on a Copper Brown HC that did have wood handles like Idahawks Redhead.

The tabs on the vents are way to big to be HC , not sure why that ash pan is with that grill , but oh well.

The Wood Handles are stamped " The Happy Cooker ". Stained in a Honey Oak finish

It's definitely odd..may not be the original ash pan, but there's no clips on the legs. Probably going to be a stacker unit. I was curious about the Vent code..if it was Weber the top vent is EO..1995..bottom vents are ER 1996.
Good conversation piece anyhow lol
