The buns I bought to use seemed mold, got tossed to my woods for some lucky vermin.
Heated CI, Coconut oil, Sauteed half an onion diced w/ fresh sliced portobello in a cheap packet of brown gravy :
I'm loving the focus heat the Slow n' Sear gives, rest of that onion follows:
Then came 1/3lb of freshly ground chuck, cut & barely pressed together to over fit bread slices.
Building the beast
Now a Praying Mantis flew into door behind me. I thought it to be a bat @ first, was huge. I unfolded napkin & grabbed it to toss back out, but it was clawing/preying on my finger as I made it out... Creepy bugger.I burn both ends of candle here (note headlamp, while grilling is a must now already dark @ 8:30!?)
A bit done for my liking (blame P. Mantis) but still perfect juicy beef swiss shroom & onion goodness
