Ever since seeing what Winz did with his Copper Kettles I have been thinking about redoing mine.....though not as radical as his:

The black triangle and ash catcher assembly are from a AA Black OTG and the handles are Cocobolo Zavod's:

I'm feeling the need for more Black....maybe painting the thermometer bezel as well as the ash can and ash sweep handles Black.

that......is a gorgeous looking kettle right there.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

She looks fantastic!  I'm hoping to score a copper one soon myself.

That's a very pretty kettle right there.

Hoss - that looks great!  I really like the Cocobolo handles.  Perfect choice, they go very well with the copper.

I think more Weber kettles would look good with black (anodized) legs, but since we can only get black kettles in the US it is a moot point...
Here is Jerome (the one I traded for the piece of copper for Bisbee):

I think that the coppers look good with black as a contrasting color.
Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work
This is my Kettle there are many like it but this one is mine......

Great looking Copper Hoss! I like the idea of the dark thermo bezel to add a splash of black up top as well... Another idea could be leave the sweep and ash bucket handles chrome, but paint the ash catcher support ring gloss black to match the bucket. I think it would show off the original shape of the kettle and somewhat hide the clunky metal diaper down below ;D

You almost cant go wrong - very nice!

Nice upgrades. You can also go with a black top vent camper cover to accent the lid a bit.

Very nice Hoss. Beautiful handles, the the black has a nice contrast to the copper.

@MrHoss that copper looks S-H-A-R-P! Love those handles. I may need to look into a set of those.
