@jenniferrose A little more info will allow more accurate help. For example; What is the price range that you have in mind? What type of cooking do you and your fiancee want to use the kettle for (grilling: burgers, dogs, chicken, etc.; or BBQ: ribs, pulled pork, etc.)? How often will you use this kettle (1-3 times a week, month, year)?
If this helps:
The new Original Kettle (older One-Touch-Silver) is a basic kettle.
The new Original Kettle Premium (older One-Touch-Gold) is a step up w/ ash maintenance support.
The Master-Touch is the Cadillac of standalone kettles. Some cooking grate upgrades & a cover support bale(or holder).
The Performer Delux can be characterized as a Master-Touch w/ coal ignition system and side table support. <-- My personal favorite.
None of this seasons Webers come in either Blue or Dark Blue with the exception of the Crate & Barrel Performer Delux.
So Craigslist is probably the best source for finding your Blue kettle. Take your time on Craigslist, not all offers there are in great condition. So ask for real pictures, ask about dents, rust, enamel chips, etc. Go look at them before you hand over any money.
My choice (for me) is the Crate and Barrel Dark Blue Performer Delux since I cook 2-3 times per week, year round, both grilling and BBQ and I can afford the cost.
Confused you have I, just take a breath, don't panic, watch Craigslist and read some of the posts on this forum ... look at some of the cookups, it's all good.
